About the Authors

People often ask us, "How can you be married and write together?"

Our answer -- "How can we not?"

Both of us love to tell stories. John is an idea factory -- new story lines blossom in his head faster than he can write them. Rachelle is a wordsmith -- always searching for the perfect way to say something. Together, we have a balance.

We have been married for over 20 years. Here's a photo of us on the day we sealed our fate with a kiss. Our wedding was held at the Excalibur Hotel in Las Vegas. As we were taking photos throughout the hotel, a little boy came up and asked John "Are you a real knight?"

John replied, "Yes, I am."

We hope that little boy believes in knights to this day.

When we are not writing, we spend our time tending to our cattle, donkeys, dogs, and cats . We also enjoy role playing, watching movies, good food and wine, and taking the time to appreciate the beauty that surrounds us.

John is a visual artist and animator. He also loves to cook. Rachelle is a technology geek, dancer, avid reader, and is learning how to quilt.

We are both passionate about life and beauty and telling a good story. Our goal is to give our readers a stolen moment in the hectic rush of life -- a moment to laugh, to cry, to fear, to rejoice, to hold on to.
